What God Has Been Doing

A recap of our summer and a look ahead to October

Praise Chapel Huntington Park: still winning souls after 50 years

Dear Pastors, Leaders, and Friends,

What a season it has been. I want to take a few minutes to tell you what God has been doing across our network these past few months. When I read the reports coming in, I keep thinking of what Jesus told His disciples:

“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’” (Matthew 9:37-38, NKJV)

The harvest is ready. And I am so encouraged, because I see God sending out laborers all over the world.

HUNTINGTON PARK, CALIFORNIA

Fifty Years and Still Reaching the Lost

Praise Chapel turned 50 this year. We celebrated with great joy, and we celebrated what God has done: churches planted and souls saved all over the world.

One of the sweetest moments was honoring our faithful members who have served for 50 and 40 years. These are the people who have stood with this church through every season.

Praise Chapel Huntington Park, where it all began, is still winning souls. After their 50th celebration, they baptized new believers. Fifty years later, the mission has not changed. We give God all the glory, and we are not looking back. We are looking forward.

TIJUANA, MEXICO

Planting Churches and Building for the Future

Pastor Pablo Lopez and the church in TJ have been busy planting new churches. That is what happens when leaders catch the vision to make disciples and send them out.

And they are not stopping there. On the same ground where this tent now stands, they are building a new conference center. They are looking to the future and making room for what God is going to do next. Please pray for Pastor Pablo, for the new pastors and their families, and for this building project.

WICHITA, KANSAS

Planting in the Heartland

Praise Chapel Wichita is planting churches in the middle of America. Four couples have stepped out in faith to start new churches in Derby, Newton, Winfield, and El Dorado, Kansas.

We made a short video with each of them, and I want you to hear their stories for yourself. Watch them, pray for these families, and then share them with your leaders.

PRAISE CHAPEL GOSHEN, INDIANA

Excited to Be a Sending Church

Pastors Carlos and Michelle Hernandez

Pastors Carlos and Michelle Hernandez and the church family in Goshen have a lot to celebrate. Last year they planted a church in Michigan. This year they are planting again, this time in Fort Wayne, Indiana. That is what a healthy church does. It does not just grow. It multiplies.

YUBA CITY, CALIFORNIA

The Tent Revival

Every year, Praise Chapel Yuba City puts up a tent and holds a month of special meetings, four nights a week. Churches from all over the region come together. Business owners, political leaders, and everyday people stand up and share what Jesus has done in their lives.

It is a powerful time of ministry. When people hear a neighbor tell how God changed them, hearts open up.

PRAISE CHAPEL LIBERIA, WEST AFRICA

Bible Conference and Church Planting

Praise Chapel Liberia, led by Pastors Forkpa and Elsie Norris, hosted a four-day International Bible Conference. Pastor Bruno Nyarko from Agogo, Ghana, and Pastor Clayton Kubota from Hawaii came as guest speakers to teach the Word and strengthen the church.

God is also raising up new leaders and new churches in Liberia. One moment from the conference blessed my heart. Pastor Bruno saw a young man he had ministered to years ago, now pastoring a church of his own.

Pastor Bruno Nyarko said, “A few years ago, when I ministered in Liberia, you were a faithful disciple; this time, you are a pioneer pastor, raising and mentoring young people for the Lord. Pastor Harris, keep up the good work.”

Looking Ahead to October

Three teams are going out. Please pray for them.

VENEZUELA

A team of four Spanish-speaking pastors, two of them from TJ, is going to Venezuela to help churches there. This is a new country for the PC Global Network. We are excited to see what God has for us to do.

THE PHILIPPINES & HONG KONG

A team is heading to the Philippines for a conference, and then on to Hong Kong to minister.

EUROPE

Another team is going to Europe to serve and strengthen our churches there.

Coming in 2027: LeaderCon 2027, January 20-22, Tucson, Arizona. MULTIPLY 2027, August 4-6, Wichita, Kansas.

Mark your calendars now. LeaderCon is in Tucson in January. Bring your disciples and your leaders, and come ready to be challenged with vision for 2027.

Then in August, MULTIPLY comes to Wichita. I believe there is a real open door in the Midwest for church multiplication. It is time for Praise Chapel to get serious about planting churches across America. I hope you will be there.

Thank you for praying, for giving, and for going. None of this happens without you. If you would like to stand with these teams as they go, you can give to PC Global Missions.

In His harvest,

Pastor Larry Neville
