FEBRUARY 2026 UPDATES

3 Years after Pastor Sammy's death,

the Philippine Fellowship continues to multiply

Victory Church International in the Philippines held its National Conference from February 9-13. This was the largest Conference we have held in the New Conference Center. At least 1/3 of the conference delegation was Gen Z, underscoring that God is giving a Spiritual Awakening to this generation worldwide.

Leading into the Next Generation Pastors Ian and Charie Sunga

the daughter and son-in-law of Pastor Sammy and Noemi Mores — together with a strong team of faithful senior leaders, are guiding Victory Church International into the next generation. The work in the Philippines is not slowing down, they are faithfully moving forward.

Pastor Abraham Pedraja of Praise Chapel in Lincoln Heights, California

one of our senior leaders, delivered powerful, challenging messages during the conference centered on the theme, "Fresh Outpouring". God used his gifting to help release the "Fresh Outpouring".

It was a great blessing to have Pastor Scott Fosenburg from Praise Chapel in Pittsburg, California minister in the Philippines for the first time. He brought a fresh and encouraging message that fit perfectly with the conference. His visit was a reminder of the power of fellowship and partnership across nations. We are praying that many more pastors who have never ministered internationally will follow his example.

LeaderCon 2026 - "Seeking God Together"

Praise Chapel Pastors and leaders gathered in San Jose, California, to begin 2026, the 50th year of Praise Chapel Fellowship.

This leaderCon had one clear purpose: Seek God and content for revival.

Prayer was the heartbeat of the conference. It was not just a meeting before services; it was woven into every part of the event. We prayed together, worshiped together, and asked God to move fresh in our churches and this generation.

LeaderCon was only the beginning. Each month, we are hosting Prayer Rallies across the Praise Chapel Fellowship as we continue to seek God together.

We believe this is our year of Jubilee — a time of Fresh Outpouring.

Revival comes when God’s people pray.

Contending for Revival

We are hosting "prayer rallies"  for the next five months.  We have one per month scheduled now in Southern California.  There are more churches outside Southern California scheduling their own.

Bucharest, Romania

Praise Chapel Romania was able to move into their new church building-Praise God! We are celebrating this amazing milestone with them and praying that God continues to bring in the harvest. They have been in a tiny building with no heat, AC, or an inside bathroom. And a bad location. Yet they have continued to be faithful and to grow. This new building is critical to the church's continued ministries.

PC Student Ministries

Reaching the GEN-Z Generation

Students from Praise Chapel churches across Northern California gathered for a two-day conference hosted by Kingdom Culture Church in Hayward, led by Pastors Paul and Lori Pimentel. Pastor Javier Solis from Praise Chapel Rancho Cucamonga served as the guest speaker and challenged the students to live boldly for Christ in their schools and friendships.

Across many of our churches, we are seeing something new — a growing number of Gen-Z young people are coming to Christ. This is not happening only in Praise Chapel. Around the world, young people are searching for truth, purpose, and real hope. God is moving among them.

This is not a time to ignore this generation.
It is a time to pray, learn how to reach them, and focus our vision on them. Gen-Z is the largest generation now entering adulthood. They will soon lead workplaces, communities, and nations.

If the church reaches them now, the future will be different.
Now is the moment to invest, disciple, and raise up young men and women who will Plant New Churches for their generation.

Kansas Church Planting

“If a church isn’t sending, it is ending.” — Pastor Albert Paredes

Praise Chapel in Wichita, Kansas, is taking our vision seriously:
Win, Build, and Send.

One example is their church plant in Derby, Kansas. Last year, they took a leap of faith and purchased their own building.

Take a close look at the people in the photo.
You’ll notice something important. This is a truly mixed congregation. Many people picture the American Midwest as nothing but white farmers and empty fields. That picture is outdated.

Small towns across Kansas and the Midwest have changed.
The Latino population has grown rapidly, and many families are open and hungry for the gospel. They need pastors. They need churches. They need someone willing to go.

There are towns with buildings ready and waiting for a congregation to move in and bring life back into them.

Jesus told us, "Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest." The need has never been clearer. The Midwest is ready for a new generation of Praise Chapel churches.

The harvest is not the problem.
The workers are.
Now is the time to send.
